Douglas is an executioner poised for greatness. He has a coolness about him that stands near arrogance. He is married to Khadijah, though their marriage is rocky, and maintains that responsible, leader’s mentality.

Even before birth, she has been a force who seems keen on making sure Khadijah and Douglas remain together. She looks out for them like an unseen guardian, and tries to play a counter force to Mr. Porter’s narcissistic scheme. Waiting patiently for the day she will manifest herself

Mr. Porter is a smooth and elegant talking driver who seems to know what to say to “Get the ball rolling” He has a mysterious way about him and seems secretly driven to destroy Douglas, with anything, anyone and everyone at his disposal.

Hasina Sundae since her upstart as an Executioner has been called “The prodigy Executioner” studying under the greats, including Douglas' father. She looks at Douglas as her opposition and is somewhat naive; do greatly to her introvert nature and work driven life style.

Essa Milan is Douglas’ best friend. Though both have many things in common, it is his differences that have made him the person to confide in when in difficult times or situations.

Judge Sullivan
Judge Sullivan is a long time mentor and somewhat of a father figure to Khadijah, especially after the death of his daughter. He has lived in Sombre Ville for his whole life and has earned a championed respect that has placed him in the eyes of many people as “The Bull”. Many people consider him different and more likeable than many of his fellow associates in the SGS.

Helena Taylor is an optimistic student who is more of a listener rather than a talker. She, along with Jibril, have put there genius like minds together to establish the highly popular, well-loved House of Celestial as a mere hobby of theirs. Both of them view their lives as short acts and like to play roles, almost never taking things too serious.

Jibril is an optimistic student socialite who is a natural comedian. He, along with Helena, have put there genius like minds together to establish the highly popular, well-loved House of Celestial as a mere hobby of theirs.
